To prevent these hazards, we have very practical solutions: fireproof specialty pipes made of stainless steel with ICS and/or ICS-H interior coating. These labels describe the non-combustible and highly resistant fluoroplastics ETFE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) and/or e-CTFE (Ethylenchlortrifluorethylen, also known under the brand name "Halar ®"). Our security pipes are an ideal solution for the "smooth" transportation of materials, for a long life even with aggressive substances, gases or liquids and a high level of safety in case of fire.
Our ICS / ICS H(alar) pipes are approved according to the American security standard FM 4922 and tested for use in cleanrooms. Kammann Metallbau is also certified to use ETFE and furthermore is Halar® FM-certified. This is a certificate issued by company FM Research, which earned its reputation for the development of fire safety standards of cleanrooms.
For information: important properties of ETFE (Ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) and E-CTFE (Ethylenchlortrifluorethylene/Halar®).
