| Turn clamping lever to loosen the clamping. |

| Unhook the chrome-plated tie rod from the clamping shoe and open the two halves of the clamping ring fixed at the joint. |

| Adjust pipes in true alignment. Pull the quick-lock clamping ring over the lips of the pipe parts to be joined. Insert chrome-plated tie rod and tighten the clamping ring connection by turning the clamping lever. Pay attention to the initial tension! The initial tension may be adjusted by turning the screw "A" (in slack condition) |
